How To Open Da Pirates?

Why would anyone want to see the Da Vinci Code? It's nothing but lies and deceptions.?

  • "Over the Hedge" looks good and I know that "Pirates of the Caribbean II" has to be good. The Da Vinci Code is a trap for people who don't know Jesus. It's junk or gossip not historical fact, not from the Bible either. Sorry no soap box intended. Just a don't believe everything you hear. Anyone else have a good movie or book to read.

    This is actually for those claiming that it's the third POC movie- No, it's actually only the second. The first one was "Curse of the Black Pearl" and now "Dead Man's Chest" is the second. As for "The Da Vinci Code" I'm undecided. I doubt I'll pay first-run theater prices to see it, but I'd probably see it at the $1.50 theater or rent it. I am very secure in my faith, so I'm not gonna be shaken by it.

Everyone knows it's fake, but some people still believe. I would love to see the Da Vinci Code. =) Oh and by the way its Pirates of the Caribbean III. Not 2, lol.

just because you dont believe it doesnt mean that it cant be a good movie...all fiction could be interpreted as lies and deception...if people going into every movie thinking that that movie is the truth and what is real then we have a real problem in society...basically da Vinci code is a mystery that just happens to deal with religion so now it has sparked some huge thing and it really doesnt need to be taken so seriously...its just a movie...my best friend feels very close to jesus and she cant wait to see the movie because she knows that is just what it is...a movie so you need to realize that people arent going in thinking its the truth they are going to see it because the book was really good and they want to be entertained

It's really not a big deal unless you take it personally as an attack against God. It is fiction. So why not see it. Most movies are about lies and deception anyway, not to mention premarital sex, drugs, gangs and murder. This is really a step up from that or at least in the same category.

It is a BOOK! A fictional book at that! Get over it! If you don't want to see it or read it, then DON'T! Let everyone else make their own decisions about it. I think this world is influenced way too much by religious fanatics.
