What is your favourite movie directed by Clint Eastwood?

hey Emma :) My favourite movie by Clint Eastwood would be Million Dollar Baby. It's my kind of movie anyway - depressing, great performances, etc. It's a really sad movie, and the replay value isn't staggering high. It was also the first Clint Eastwood movie I ever watched, and one of the first movies that made an impact. The whole concept about her having her shot, I really liked. This is kind of a spoiler, but I guess in a culture where if someone encurs an irrevesible tragedy, that they are said that they have no shot at all, failed, etc. Million Dollar Baby isn't like that at all, and that's one of the many things I love about it.

UNFORGIVEN One of the best of the genre. It is a toss up between Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby. Today I select Unforgiven. Great stories, acting, and directing. Shows the sensitive side of Clint. But most of his movies show his sensitive side.

The first movie that he directed was "Play Misty For Me" yet my favorite was "The Outlaw Josey Wales". He received an academy award for "Unforgiven". I like Josey Wales better because it seems to be more of an epic western that is classic for that genre.

Million Dollar Baby because I enjoy all of Eastwood's movies, regardless of whether he stars, directs or both the movie. In Million Dollar Baby, I believe he both starred in and directed the movie.

Good question. Probably Gran Torino, or Space Cowboys. The first because of the mood in the movie, and the second because I really like the subject matter - and you can't go wrong with an SR-71.
