How can I record my voice on windows movie maker?

Windows movie maker narration problem?

• I just got a new computer with windows 7, coming with windows LIVE movie maker, which is just terrible. I just dowloaded windows movie maker 2.6, which has the narration tool i used to use most in my videos. On my old computer, i could record the sound coming from the internal sound speakers (not a microphone or recording device). For example, I could play a sound or play a microsoft speech voice, and it would record it internally, not with a mic. On my new computer, not only can I find the option to record internally, It simply says there are no audio input devices at all. the slot just says "none". can anyone help me figure this out?

  You have to use your old computer. Or install XP on your new computer. The sound stack is completely different in 7, that's how you can mute individual programs in 7 and not on previous versions. I'm running a dual boot with Windows XP and 7. It rocks.
