Whats your take on the da vinci code?

i thought it was a good movie, albeit boring at times. the plot was interesting but i think i would have liked it better if i hadn't read the book first. that always seems to happen for me, i don't like a movie as much because i read the book and the movie really is never better than the book, except in the case of lord of the rings. i think tom hanks did a good job, but then again, i love tom hanks.

Entertaining piece of fiction.

Only heard of it in that it has upset a lot of people in the Vatican. Okay, so Jesus got someone pregnant, so what. He was a man! Right. Relgion is all about 'sex control' - take that away and the gonzo priests have nowhere else to go! Thou shalt not have sex in the Garden of Eden - as if I would. You mean right here in the park? All the gods invented by mankind were born of virgins. Is that sane or what? No such thing can happen, not even when visited by an angel. Right!??

I liked it.

The film was such a big disappointment, especially the end. The book however is one of the best books that I have ever read. The film did not stick to the story in the book and it was far more sensationalised in the film (probably for the American audiences) But please read the book if you havent done so already!

I like the book cause, whether fiction or not, it kinda makes you think. I like books like that. I have yet to see the movie though........

People like to say its a load of *$£" but everyone secretly loves it.

The book was an easy read, I was let down after all the hype. It was just mildly entertaining. I haven't seen the movie.

I really enjoyed the book because it was like trying to solve a really complex puzzle. The idea is highly far fetched, but entertaining nonetheless. It kind of makes you think...
