I imagine that's up to the parents. As for sex related things, usually children are not involved in those scenes, as it is illegal. If there is nudity in an R rated movie, then the children will probably not be in that scene, and the parents of the child actor can have their child close their eyes for that scene. As for porn...it's illegal for children to be in porn, or to watch porn. Assuming people are following the law, it's a non-issue.

I guess it would depend on their age, their role and their parents permission.

Dune

Yes, but it depends if there parents allow them to see it or not. I went to go see "The Mist" premiere and the little boy that was in that movie sat through the entire thing. Edit They know it's not real because they were on set every day creating the movie.

any child can see a rated R if their parents take them into the theater or rent/buy the dvd.. If the child actor/actresses parents allow them (which im sure they will) then yes, they can see it. I mean, im sure the director shows them the finished product

Alexander the Great

They're most likely alowed to attend the premier of the movie, and it's up to the parents whether they'll allow them to view the movie or not. It would be rather strange if a mom allowed a kid to act in the movie, but not watch it, though.

Hannibal the Cannibal

there was this whole story of how anne rice couldnt go to the first movie made off her books because she was then still underage. i'm not sure if it's real or an urban legend. either way it's uncool ;)

They can get the private screenings with the other cast members, and see them later on cable or DVD, but movie theatres need to follow their policies.
