For people with a lazy eye: can you see 3D Movies?

  • Hi, I have a lazy eye that I was operated on when I was a young child, and it worked out pretty well, but I still have a little bit of trouble with it. Then this whole 3D Movies thing came up, and I noticed that when I looked at a 3D movie's screen without the glasses on, I would see the scrambled imagine. But when I put on the glasses, I would see the picture just like a normal movie. No 3D, just a normal image, like in a regular film. Once I had a moment where I saw something happening in 3D, for one slight moment. Apparently my eyes had started to adjust. And it was quite something else I must say. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

    I have a lazy eye, had it since I was 3 years old (now 67) they did not carry out many operations when I was a child so I still cannot watch 3D movies. I have tried just waiting to see if something happens and I can enjoy the films like everyone else, but sadly for me it is just like watching an ordinary film.

I had a lazy eye until I finally decide I wanted the surgery too. Now I watch 3D and yeah it doesn't look much different but for me I don't really care. So When I don't have the glasses on it doesn't look normal because of all the red and blue, but it doesn't really seem like 3D anyway when I have it on. And another thing, lazy yes have to do with eye muscles and not the eyes themselves. So all in all I think it's just the movie that doesn't have many 3D parts and not just you. But yes. It's very fun the have the 3D parts
