    Hi :) Queen - Who Wants To Live Forever. I think it's beautiful, really powerful and his voice was insane - so awesome! It's perfection in a song, I think. And I adore Bohemian Rhapsody, I mean who even thinks of songs like that? He was so talented. I like his solo stuff but I'm more a fan of the Queen experience. xx

My favourite song sung by Freddie (but written by bandmate bass player John Deacon) was their little known 1978 song Spread Your Wings (News Of The World album), only reaching number 34 in the UK. The Show Must Go On, credited as written by Mercury/May/Taylor/Deacon, was a masterpiece, and quite sad indicating he knew his fate. Brian May's Hammer To Fall was a great song, in a time when we all lived in fear of an escalation of the Cold War. Undoubtedly Mercury's finest song written entirely by him was the semi operatic ballad Bohemian Rhapsody, which was without a shadow of a doubt the greatest songer ever penned. His tribute to American gospel music, Somebody To Love was another classic. The man was a true genius and a fine performer and showman.
