Chances of becoming famous actress?

  • I know it is minimal, 1% etc etc etc... Yet this doesnt consider other factors, age, looks, skill. If you are a young, good looking person, fit, amazing body, are your chances increased? I am well aware that there must be thousands of barbie dolls out there but it must make a difference. Post your thoughts

    Youth and good looks help. As well as a shred determination, an open mind and great connections so start networking and you'll increase your chances. Having a unique feature sometimes helps also. If you're hopes are to be a A-list hollywood movie actress your chances are reduced considerably. If you're aiming for TV work you have more of a chance. Luck plays a large part in your success but you have to be in it to win it so get networking and be willing to back stab but also kiss a lot of butt. Good luck, I hope you or whoever you are asking for reach your full potential and achieve your goals/dreams.

Yes, your chances absolutely increase. Hollywood is biased towards good looking people. I would say your best bet is to try out for a play or something minor to at least get seen by some folks in the industry, and just work your way up. But as you probably know this already... Don't quit your day job. But you may get lucky. If you have the determination for it, that increases your chances even more. Some people will tell you you have no chance, but don't listen to them.
