How late is too late to transfer to a different high school?

Hi well i want to transfer schools as in im in 8th and for high school i want to got 2 a different high skwel?

ok so how do i change for next school year (i dont want to go to my home school and yes its in the same district) i called today to the auhsd its a district and they said today was the last day and they hung up which was rude but anyway they thought i wanted to change high school as if i were in 9th and for 10th i wanted to go to some other school. so wat to do and wat to say? i still have to months of 8th then summer so do i transfer now or in august when they start sending the packet for registration.???? please help and please no stupid answer
