What interesting activity can I do with kindergartners about the topic "book"?

• Kindergarten activity ideas please? I am on internship!? They are learning with their teacher the topic "book" I'm expected to do 2 activities for 35 kids during circle time that relates to this topic. (I don't live in u.s. therefore we have many kids in the class!) One of them should be really good as it's for the time I will be observed formally. It should include various forms of teaching methods such as song, game, pictures, etc...

  I watched a teacher introduce the care of books to kinders. She talked about it as a treasure that needed to be treated tenderly. Then she proceeded to show then how to open it, crease the ends gently open, and find the title page. Then she worked through it with the students using new books. Get a big book that they will enjoy. Look at the cover and title, and guess what it might be about by drawing their predictions. Read and talk about the story together. They could then draw about the differences. You could also make up a game -- concentration, using drawings from the book that have to be matched. It is a good memory game. Another could be the illustrations of list of facts, from that book and not from it. They list it as in the book or not. Book Title in one column, and a ? in the other, As children turn over the cards, they put them under one of the two column titles.
