Best science minor to take?

Should I take physical science or Chemistry next year ? (sophmore year)?

• Hi guys. Right now I am a freshman in highschool. I am in kind of low classes because I am not the smartest person but next year I will be taking English 2, Academic, Geometry, Studies, Study hall, Us History 1, Academic, Drivers ed & Phys ed, Intro to piano, Cooking, and Intro to spanish. Well I was recommended in Physical Science studies which is the level below academic (lowest level) and I really wanted to take Chemistry because all sophmore's are supposted to take chemistry, and if I took physical science next year than junior year I would have to take earth science instead of Physics like everyone else. I know that chemistry would probably be a little challenging for mee & that's why they reccomended Physical science but I don't want to regret taking physical science, I mean if chem was to hard I could always move down but if i took physical science and it was to easy it would be much more of a process to move up. I don't want to fail next year but I also don't want to put myself behind and regret taking physical science, if all of the other people in my grade can take chemistry why can't i... If it was an easier process I would move right up to chemistry but the thing is if you don't get recommended a class that you want that you need to go through this whole process of waving it and making the head of the teacher sign a slip and everything. I don't want to go aganist all of my teachers recommendations cause I already went aganist English and world history (because I am good in those subjects & know I can do good) But like it's not like I would fail chemistry, as long as I would try than I am sure that i can get a good grade if I focus. This year I am in biology and I have a B+ so I don't see why my teacher reccomended me in physical science :( I know this is probably a stupid question, but can someone please help me? This is actually stressing me out. My friend is in biology with me and has a B and she got reccomended chemistry, academic. What do you guys think I should do? and please don't give me a rude answer, if you don't want to answer than don't. PLease help guys!! Thanks so much !

  Physical Science is probably easier than Chemistry, seeing as at my school I took it in middle school, and am going to take Chemistry as a junior next year.
