Online High School Course?

I need an online geometry course I can take in summer and pass and not have to take geometry in high school.?

• I am taking Algebra I as an eighth grader, but I want to be in geometry right now with the extra-ahead kids. So I'd like to take a geometry course online over the summer, so that I can pass it like I took it this year, and skip to Algebra II with the other kids who had geometry this year. Is this even possible? If so, please help, and not too expensive?

  This is possible. What you will have to do is call the high school and talk to them about the option of "running start" or dual enrollment They will say, "oh, you're too young" but don't let that stop you. Contact the closest community college around you and take the placement tests and hopefully you'll score into the college equivalent of geometry. Then set up an appointment with a guidance counselor (two actually, one with the high school and one with the college) and go for the online class. When they say, "No, that's too hard," don't give up. Tell them you want to do it, be determined, don't give in. Chances are that you will have to pay for the online class - which will be a few hundred dollars.
