What are the best universities for studying social science?

Is Science the most important subject to focus on?

• Hey, my dad said I should focus on studying science, and I'm in grade six. We haven't discussed what I should do for a living, but he said "Study things like chemistry, biology, and science, because that opens up a lot of opportunities." I just want to see what people think about this, and I would really like every ones Point of View! I thought about this, and I agreed with him, but I just wanted to clarify this answer! Sorry about the text wall, but I thought this was interesting! (He never said "It's the ONLY thing you should study, all the others are important too.) I asked him what types of jobs would open this up; he said engineering, and of course, a scientist. I want a really nice job, with a high-paying salary, so I can just brag to my friends who most likely will be poor, because they really don't give a crap about school. I hope some intelligent person sees this question and responds with an intelligent answer! I really dislike people who say one sentence and that's it. My average marks are like this: Math- 70 LA and Social- 76-84 Science- 85 French and Gym- 97 and 82 (i don't know why I got so freaking high in french, I didn't even study for it, but I was determined when I learned it had high chances on getting into colleges and universities!) I really do like Science, and these are my units broken down (estimated)- Aerodynamics- 52 Space- 89 (I was really amazed at astronomy!) Investigation- 78 Trees and Forests- 79

  Actually I think that mathematics is very important. Sobjecme people think that they are not able to understand math. This then becomes a big handicap for them. Mathematics is important to be successful in learning many other subjects.
