Why is Art Education important in Schools?

Why do you think art education is important in schools?

  • Answer:

Art is about observing your world and interpreting it in your own way, using your own imagination to create a new reality. Art also leads to heaps of careers. Art designed this website! Art stimulates the imationation and to some people who are natural at it, couldn't live without it (including me). For younger children art is good for small muscle strengthening and hand-eye co-ordination. Art involves mathematical and science concepts such as depth perception, angles, colour, shapes etc. Human's ability to express their creativity is what got us so far, made us inventers and radical thinkers. Art is essential!

The greatest thing you can teach a child is imagination..art is where they can express these things.i take the arts and i m 15 for me i score straight a's for art and literature but i do terrible for subjects like maths and science.some times the left side of the brain works better than the right for some and i feel that it is ok.it is not right to say art is not important its gives ppl a deeper understanding about life.not saying maths and science is not but art it goes into a place that only the artists knows..his imagination..
