How long does it take to become a medical biller?

What subjects do i need to take to become a psychologist?

  • I'm only 14 but i need to know what ones i need to do standard grades in (i'll be doing standard grades next year), so i can do highers after. The subjects i take at the moment are chemistry (but i'm going to a new school and i have to take 2 sciences there so i think i'll take biology), art, music, history (i have to take either history, modern studies or geography) and spanish. Then the subjects that are compulsory are English, maths, French, religious studies, and P.E. So will the subjects i take at the moment be enough (including biology which i will take at my new school)? And if not what other subjects should i take? And what subjects should i drop? I wouldn't like to take a lot more subjects because i like all the subjects i take and i can't take any more without dropping some i already do. Also whatever subjects i take up this year will mean much more work because i'll be far behind since i didn't take them last year.

Generally, you would need to do Biology and Maths (quantitative studies which is a part of the Psychology degree). I don't think it matters GCSE wise, but it definitely will in A-levels. I'm not sure if Chemistry is needed since psychiatrists are the ones who also deal with drugs/meds and you're looking to become a psychologist.. But I think Biology is the most important one out of the three Sciences. No, online IQ tests are inaccurate. The most accurate test will come from a qualified professional.
