What Should I Write For This Essay? I Really need Help!?

  • Well I have to write an essay. the maximum pages is 2. i have to write an essay by this friday. the essay has to be about why i want to join this high school. and it has to be about my biographical back round. i have no clue how to start it! i really want to get in this high school. so please any ideas on how to start it. and if you can what do you think i should right my whole essay about. i was thinking of writing the full 2 pages so i have a higher chance of getting accepted. or should i only write 1 page? please help! these are the requirments. Compose a typed essay (2 pages maximum length), using Times New Roman, 12 point font, with 1” margins all around. Your essay will be assessed on content and conventions. Make sure that your name is typed in the upper right hand corner of the paper and attach it to your application. · Introduce yourself and provide a brief biographical background. · Explain why you believe that the Gilroy Early College Academy is the optimum choice for your high school experience. Be specific with your answer. · After carefully reading the Honor Code of our school (Section VIII), explain what attributes you possess that will help you up hold the Honor Code.     First off, you don't have to use bigger words just to make an essay sound good. Secondly, I'm sure somewhere in your mind you would love to brag about your academic success in Middle School, but don't do it. That's what the application is for, they already know you have the grades, so don't push it. The Early College is an excellent program, and if I had known earlier, I would've joined myself! You graduate High School with an Associates Degree, how awesome is that!? Any who, off topic. They already told you what to write, so just write what comes to mind, but be wise on what you decide to write about.

First make a brief note of what you have to write/ and write about. ( if they asked for 2 pages, give them 2 pages. Example: Things to do: -Essay 2 pages/deadline Friday Questions to answer: -Give biographical background about yourself, name, small photo, your academic achievements, your hobbies and your academic aims. -State reason why you want to join school ( must be impressive/sincere answer-be exact and give this answer good attention) - Read the Honor Code very well, just in case you are asked about it and say why you think you would be able to abide by the given codes. -Add something extra about yourself and family and (i.e why you and your family would be happy if you got into the school ) or what you think you would like them to know. Paper Work Requirements for Use in Word Processor: -Go to font and change to size 12 - Change style of font to Times New Roman - 1 inch margin all around ( get help with this from a family member if you are not sure how to do this) -Name type oin right hand corner/with small photo( some add a pic) -Staple this to the back of your application form. Basically, i would brain storm ideas first about each thing you have to write about, with really good reasons to back up everyhting you say you have to make it sound like you really really want to go, and write stuff about how amazing the school you want to go to is, and how it can offer you lots of oputunites; just really say loadsssss of good stuff about the school u want to go to & like use the theasurus to help you use bigger words (: sorry this might have not helped :P also i would do 2 full pages not just one (: but remember its quality not quantity
