How does being a parent affect your teaching?

Does the parent's occupation affect the children ?

  • Does the parent's occupation affect the children ? I think it does, My dad is the sergeant of our local police department and my mom is the principal of my school and I get into my fair share of trouble. Also you may think that I get special treatment, but that is actually far from the truth.

  • Answer:

Yes I believe it has a effect on the children, if your parents work long hours, that gives a kid more time to get into trouble. If a parents job is extremely stressful a parent may be less likely to follow through with discipline due to being tired from work. I think the list could go on really but to make a long subject short, i think it can. But let me say this, while your parents are working hard to provide a good life for you, stay out of trouble. Make life a little easier on them and they will do the same for you :)

I suppose most occupations affect children in some form or another. It only makes sense, having to send your kids to daycare would be a great example.

That means you could get away with everything if your parents were cool, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Tell them that they're so uncool. :/
