Is k12 virtual school hard?

What is K12 online school all about?

  • I'm going to be a junior in high school next year, and I'm interested in K12 online school. I'm wondering if there's any cost to do the public school option. I'm also wondering how many hours a day you have to do it, how many days a week it is, and what time you have to start. Are you aloud to skip some days if you are sick like normal school? Also, is it really hard or is it easy? Please help! I really need to know these things so I can decide if online school is the right thing for me.

  • Answer:

I just applied this week for k12 (South Carolina Virtual Charter School Version) and am currently waiting for them to receive my papers. There is no cost for the public school option (this is what I'm doing). From what I hear, it takes about 6 hours/day. Depends on your speed I suppose. And yeah it is still five days a week like normal school. (Except you can work on it anytime that day). I do believe you get sick days. (heard it from somewhere online). I'm going to be a sophomore and am also hoping that k12 is everything I'm looking for!
