How does an online High School work?

How can i get my high school diploma or ged, how does it work?

• Well im 15 year's old, i will be 16 in a month, and ive been to school to school now i go to online schooling now my email is getting blowed up by my teachers cause they wanna drop me and im sick of high school but i have good grades and i try my best, i just wanna move on and start college already but how can i get my ged or high school diploma? What do i do? and what's the difference between them two? I need a explanation of how it works Thank you.

  Mary, You need to be very careful here. The vast majority of colleges across the country will not admit you with a GED. Community colleges will, but not any reputable colleges or universities. Even if you're taking online high school courses (home schooling), earning a diploma that way is better than just a GED. Each online school and/or traditional high school has it's own graduation requirements to meet, so it would be difficult to explain it to you not knowing where you attend. There are millions of kids that are sick of school just like you, but it's something that you have to get through in order to go to college and get yourself a good career in the future. It's not the only way, but it's the smart way. Stick it out! You said that you get good grades and you try your best, so keep doing that and it will pay off down the road! Hope that helps!
