What method of teaching do montessori schools use?

Answer:
Montessori schools believe in the "hands on" method of teaching, for instance while teaching multiplications (which they do teach to 5 year olds) they give the child an abacus and have them show the new numbers being multiplied in. I highly recommend a Montessori school for Pre-School and Kindergarten but I might not for elementary, the lack of homework will make it much harder for your child to adjust. Good luck!
