How is Pennsylvania's school system?

Our school system is messed up?

• Before you jump to any conclusions, just know that I am not going to be ranting because I am some idiot who thinks everything is about him. (I say this because all the questions titled like this one are like that) I am a 15 year old high school student and I know I am smart. It is hard to say this without sounding conceited, but I'll do my best. I always do well on standardized tests. My teachers are always telling me I have great analytical skills in my essays. even after all of this, I still get bad grades. The reason for this, I believe, is that our current school system tries to level the playing field for all the students and I have some news for you, we aren't all equal. The school system focuses almost completely on work, not knowledge or aptitude. I find this insulting. Instead of using time to learn and analyze, time is spent with busy work. What this tells me is that the school system thinks that the best thing for me to do is waste my time doing meaningless work. I keep strong to my morals because if you don't then you will be pulled into the institutionalized mindset that removes your ability to challenge the norms put forth by those who are act like they are in charge. The school system needs to realize that people like me are the innovators. We are the ones that will go to college. We are the ones that will do meaningful work to benefit society. They need to realize that by making everyone equal, they take away our dreams of doing so. An equal society can not be., stop trying to create one.

  Welcome to my world. They only care about standardized test scores so the state doesn't take over. But, your question is? This really isn't the place to rant. If you want to really get someones attention hold a school board meeting rally. Explain your situation and how you feel, but it would proably go over better if you also had other students, parents, and/or teachers helping. I have to be at school by 7:05 am and don't leave until 3:00 pm. So yeah....No sleep for me.
