How to enter school again at the level I'm supposed to be (I failed and dropped out)?

Hey Yahoo Answers. I'm sixteen, with a career in machinima (YouTube partner) and basic district-program certifications as a computer technician. I have depression, social anxiety and ADD. I'm from British Columbia, Canada, and my parents are very understanding about this situation. They both went through this in their teen years as well. I've had a terrible time since the end part of elementary school with my grades. In seventh grade it was revealed that our school, the best fine arts school in the region, would be going into the current (highly opposed) district plan of making the schools K-5, adding in a 6-8 middle school and making the secondary schools 9-12, minus one school that opted out. That meant that all of our teachers would be losing the jobs they loved and put in other schools or career paths entirely. Some did leave. We were the last grade sevens, and the teachers just . . . felt lifeless that year. It was terrible. I failed pretty much everything after being bullied for a lot of my grade 6/7 years, but they couldn't hold me back so they had to pass me. At the middle school I was very ill that year with a disease of the spinal cord and often was in a lot of pain. I couldn't attend. My teachers often did not show up to teach, the office was in total communication lockdown and I heard recent reports that it hasn't gotten any better. Apparently having a power outage and keeping 800 kids in a freezing cold gym with only cell phones to use (no corded phone) is "good policy". Anyways, I wasn't there, and when I was there I didn't learn anything besides stuff they'd probably teach you in grade three. My elementary school was lightyears ahead, and I was quite bored. Still, being in and out of hospital for surgeries, with no response or caring phone call from the school, they passed me based on what I had done because, again, couldn't hold me back. Next year it turned out some person at the board had made a huge mistake and overspent $44 million on the middle school (adding one 0 in the wrong place or something) and the budget for my secondary school, already deemed "ghetto", had around $1000 of wiggle room and the gov't wasn't budging. I was still in hospital a lot, so for around six months I dropped out of the ninth grade and was tutored by somebody from the Homebound Schooling program on recommendation from a nurse I had. I did astronomically well. I had been depressed for about the past two years, and finally things were seeming alright. Get back to school and start to fail again, but they still pass me. Jump to grade ten. **** goes down. I end up not having all my grade 9 credits and have to do grade 9 over again. I'm offered a spot in the Dual Credits program by my district to study to be a computer technician. I jump at it and get it done by March, where I've become so fed up with my lack of an education I'm ready to drop out (I really am a good learner, but the teachers were not teaching). Then, after a long talk with a counsellor and mother about everything, I get set up at a Learning Centre. We were going to choose a private school, but times changed. I do well there. It wasn't challenging, not a lot of people. Jump to my grade eleven year. My science teacher gave me 49% and my math teacher lost the last bit of everybody's work when his house had a pipe burst, so we all failed. I still didn't have my English (my gifted subject) or my Socials. They decide to make me do 9/10 all over again, with my 11 classes done online. Another school was overflowing so they dumped their low risk kids in our school, and as I can't stand a lot of people when I'm trying to learn, I get fed up. I'm doing all this **** over AGAIN for a third time. I get fed up two weeks in and leave. Apparently I had no chance of gradding under my current situation. There was "nothing I could do to help it." It's December now and I've not been in school since September 16th. I'm a YouTube partner now. I don't have the anxiety of being in a large setting, nor do I have a real reason to graduate as I already have a great job and backup credentials. I would like to go back to school . . . So my question is, how can I prove that I'm intelligent enough to frickin' do my grade 12 in September? I've done ALL of my work for 9/10/11 MULTIPLE times but they (the schools) still don't see that. All they see marked down is "math disability" "poor attendance" "inattentive" "depressed". We've tried everywhere. Everyone's all, "Ehh . . . hmm . . . ahh. . . ." over the situation. If you have ANY advice (again, I'm Canadian, from BC) I would be forever grateful. I'm not willing to go back and do anything over again. I want to enter at the level I SHOULD be. I do well when I work one-on-one, not online (it distract

Answer:
It would probably be better to just take the GED and keep your career. The root cause in most cases of academic failure is the inability to recall previously learned material. Unfortunately, the school system does not teach students how memory actually functions. If you don't believe me answer this question: what is proactive interference? When did your teacher inform you of this? The solution to forgetting is to use mnemonics(proper encoding) and a spaced repetition system(active recall). wikipedia: forgetting curve, Active recall, Anki, Spaced repetition google "Algebra Acrostic Dictionary" and "Geometry Acrostic Dictionary" Acrostic mnemonics provides a better encoding and retrieval process for memory.
