Can i go on holiday straight after my GCSE exams?

• I'm in Year 11 which is the final year of GCSEs for me. I have found out that my last GCSE exam is June 13th and I would like to go on holiday ASAP so would it be possible for me to go on holiday like on June 21st abroad (for 2 months) or am I required to stay for anything?

  You're not required to stay for anything after your exams. The only problem it might cause is what you intend on doing next year, and getting your results. If you've applied for a college/sixth form course, then they'll be wanting to hear from you as soon as possible after you get your exam results. If you're away on the day of the results, then you won't get them until later, meaning they won't know them until later, so you may not get on the course. Depending on your school, it may be allowed for a friend/family member to pick up your results (my friend did for me, but had to have her passport as ID), and then called me to tell me my results. I then called the sixth form I applied for from abroad to tell them my results and to accept my place. Tell your school you plan on going away, and arrange for someone else to pick up your results. Also let wherever you've applied for know, and tell them what's going on and you'll call them when you get your results. One thing is, you'll be missing out on getting and sharing your results with your friends. It may be the last chance you'll see some people, so it'd be a shame to miss out. If your results are not what you're expecting, it could also ruin your holiday.
