Why is bullying so popular at school and is there something we can do?

In need your opinion on my essay!!! (School Uniforms)?

• School uniforms good or bad, the war against students and teachers about school uniforms will never change but that doesn’t mean that they both don’t have good points. School uniforms are a way for everyone to look the same and not be treated differently by other students; what teachers don’t know is that students make fun of each other anyways, there are still clichés the popular people and the nerds. There will always be people making fun of other people no matter what they wear or how they look, which all in all doesn’t matter to students its who your friends are, what skin color you have, if your in sports or chess, and every thing in between This paper is about the good and bad of school uniforms, I have gone to a school with uniforms and know what its like, its not horrible but its not good either. There are still girls finding ways to make themselves better looking by wearing to much make up or pulling up there skirts to make them as short as the teachers will allow; and guys will sag there jeans while wearing a belt even when the teachers tell them to pull their pants up. The guys will tell the teachers that the rule book just says they have to wear a belt, its not right but neither is school boards making us give up are individuality in hopes that kids will stop bullying. There are good things about school uniforms, some students will take hours getting ready and picking out outfits but with school uniforms your don’t have to worry about it and you have more time to do your homework. YOU GO TO SCHOOL FOR AN EDUCATION NOT A FASHION SHOW. Save that for after school. It does not matter if my daughter likes them or not. I send her to school for an education and I expect the best. The only complaint I have is that school uniforms where I live are not really uniform. If they are going to use uniforms they should stick with it. They don't order them in a few styles and stores, same brands. You can wear almost any and every style thought of and buy it from Wal-Mart brand to JCPenny brand or GAP brand. Tell me that is uniforms. The only thing uniform is the color. That is not right. If you are going to do that then let them wear what they want instead of making them wear the color you choose. Don't get me wrong I honestly believe SCHOOL UNIFORMS ARE BEST, if they are truly uniform. All theses opinions, not one the same everyone wants there children to be safe and not to be bullied but there’s no way to stop it. Its who the person is not what they wear.

  Very good so far, i would sugest a spell checker to impress tutors and try to adapt your language from talking to friends to talking to a teacher. The ending needs more or a conclusion, you have included good point and bad, so a conclusion should be a discussion about how uniform is to stop bullying but why it doesnt work, it doesnt work because the social divide penetrates deeper than clothing alone. Also include more facts, your essay is solely based on opinions, you need facts, if you search certain school charity sites you will find uniforms have actually decreased bullying in areas, and you will find great statistics to quote in your essay, just always rember to include the address they came from. Otherwise this is good work and an issue that many student including myself had to write essays about in secondary school.
