Can students usually take summer courses during their Freshman year summer vacation toward high school credit?

Deepending on how your school system is I would say yes, I know here and Ohio you can take summer classes and it does go towards your high school credits. You really should talk to your counsler about it. Or if you can see if your counsler can having a meeting with you and him/her and the superintendent that way if your counsler doesn't know, the superintendent will be able to tell you if it the class you are wanting to take during the summer, will count towards your high school credits. If this is a college class I am sure it can count towards both a high school and college credit. But I would recommend the meeting before you go any further. Betty

Everything depends on how your school system works. But hey if your school has it by all means go ahead and do that. It would probably be better for you when you apply to college.
