How was your first day of highschool?

I got most of the teasing from the other freshmen, the ones who thought they were big cheese. They stopped when they got dished on by the older kids on their teams. If you get teased, ignore it, or be snarky. Say a sophmore says "Hey freshmeat!" You could say "Did you hear a sophmore talking? Did you know that means 'Wise Fool' in Greek?" or "Hi Sick Puppy! Did you throw up today?" A guy in our junior high got nicknamed "sick puppy" partly because of that. Really, my first day was a lot of saying hi to, but getting ignored by, people I didn't get along with in grade school. It was also a little embarrassing - I remember getting lost for 15 minutes in the wrong building. I showed up late - escorted by security - to my Spanish class and was marked as a "trouble kid" until I took the top score on our first exam. The worst is the lunchroom. You have to find a place to sit with people you don't know. Just find a table and say hello and ask if you can sit down. If they say no, find somewhere else. Worst-case, bring a book, sit by yourself somewhere else. You'll be left alone.

my first day was scary cuz i didn't know what to expect!! but after a while you get used to the school. don't worry about people calling you a "freshy" (or whatever they say at your school) that will only last for like a week. just ignore the people who make fun of freshman their immature! have fun! not bad, in my town, you move to the high school in 10th grade. well, i guess it was the second day that wasn't bad. The first day sucked. They did an intro day for the students, kinda for everyone to get to know each other, and find classes and stuff. But, it was really boring, stupid and lame, i would have rather been in class. But the second day wasn't bad, teachers went over rules, no one called names, and what not. I guess, sometimes it hard to tell if someone is new to the school or not. Just look older than you are. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

My first day was great..i was nervouse at first but it was fun. But lots of people from 8th grade were in my 9th grade classes so..i talked to my friends..and the teachers were ok.. i liked all my teachers except my science teacher.. High School is fun
