Do children that go to private schools seem to be more stuck up than public school children?

I am a girl 8th grader in private school, I am going to be brutally honest. I am not high class, I hate private school with very ounce of my body, one, the kids are stuck up and I donot fit in, I sit alone everyday, the uniforms are a hassle, if one bit of uniform is not right you have to buy 500 more dollars of it, the safe environment is a bunch of bs too, I am daily harrased in the hall ways, people tripping me, trying to put me in trash cans, hitting my books out of my hands, if you do not fit in with everyelse you are targeted, and private school teachers really don't give a flipping damn. Please, please, please, please don't send your kid to private, I am always sad, and cry my self to sleep even sometimes, it is bruatal, please don't I beg you, if you need any further info on private school contact me please.

well I go to pubic school and we were talking about this in my sociology class.Privite school is privately run (dur) the classes are larger because they dont want to hire teachers, most are not co ed. Really collages dont look at what school you went too its how you did on your SAT and ACT. i like pubilc school because it socilizes people and teaches them to be a functioing normal person in society, privet school makes it so that they act the same and they dont focus on the individual

I kinda think so...I mean when u hear "private school' u see a bunch of preppy kids....They dont learn how to act with the public or how crude the public can be, because all they know is a private world.... But then again I think it is all in how the child is raised too.

I think it really depends on the child, and the way they are brought up. If you are constantly telling them that they are better than other children because they attend a private school, then they are going to act that way with their peers. I think that there are always going to be the people that are going to assume the worst of children that go to private schools, especially if they never went. I believe that if you teach your children about equality, then you won't have to worry about them being stuck up.
