What do I do during first day of Walmart's orientation?

What do you do at the high school orientation and on the first day of high school?

  • I have my orientation tomorrow and I don't know what to expect. Do you go and explore by yourself or do you go with friends or can you pick or what.. ? Do you get your locker assignments and time stables or is that on the first day ? How do I survive my first day or week in high school ? Do I try to make friends quickly ? Do I wear my new clothes ? Any tips are very appreciated, thanks. <3

    well orientation depends on your high school at mine we usually have an introduction from the principle, performances by clubs, and then a tour around the school it just depends on what your school does and for your first week of high school just don't do anything stupid! :D be friendly and don't be afraid. and don't wear all your new clothes on one day, or else you'll run out of new things for the rest of the week!

first orientation is just gonna tell you what you can be expected to do, dress code and all that. you can go with Friends and you might not want to wear your new clothes just in case someone else thinks it would be funny to mess with a freshmen, but not likely to happen just a precaution . all that stuff you get the first day if you dont you can always just go to the front office if you dont get it. and about the first day-week thing its not like you think that all the older kids pick on the new kids and most likely you be with friends from middle school in the first period or some other time along your day well thats all i got for ya good luck and have fun theres nothing like high school once you get use to it

orientation : wait in line and when it gets to you you give your name and you get locker, gym equipment, other stuff and it costs like 100$ high school: grab 2-3 friends and distance yourself from everyone else you know and join a click/group that is like you. if everyone is new, then remember, you can be anyone you want, you just need to have the balls to do it. I believe in you :)

It's basically like a short school day (at my school, anyway). You go around to your classes on a timed schedule like you would normally, just so you can meet a few people and the teachers and figure out where your classrooms are. High school really isn't that different from middle school...there are just more people.

I'm going to orientation in about 2 hours.. and I have no idea what to expect either. But all I know is that once I get my schedual, I'm going to be put into my first period class group (homeroom). But I have no idea what will go on from there.
