Transferring College Credits?
-
I'm just wondering, if you went to college A taking a certain class (4 credits) and transferred to college B but they don't have that class, do you still get the credit for the class? I know it wouldn't be considered a required credit to graduate since the class doesn't exist but do they still give you the 4 credits?

Answer:
If you can convince them it's reasonably similar to a class they offer, they'll probably give you credit. If it's not related to anything they offer (like surgical technology classes and transferring to a liberal arts college) they won't take it and you lose those credits.
