I Got A 0.5 For My Freshmen Year First Report Card It Doesn't Mean Im Doom For Going Too College Does It,,

Answer:
Of course not! The only thing that can "doom you from college" is if you let your GPA stand as is. Depending on what year you're in now, you may still be able to re-take some of the courses you did poorly in, I would talk to your counselor about your options. The obvious way to raise your GPA is do stellar in the rest of your classes. If you're up for the challenge, taking AP or honors classes may be able to raise your GPA as well. If you still end up with low marks on your transcript, I'd still recommend applying to some 4 year schools, especially if they allow you a personal statement. In your personal statement you can explain any circumstances in which you had gotten poor grades throughout high school. If by chance that doesn't work, a lot of people right out of high school are going to community colleges and then transferring to a 4 year school after 2 years. This not only lowers costs, but the universities then look at your grades from said community college. Don't give up hope, you can still go to college. :)

well no, if you get amazing grades the next 3 years and the rest of this year. but If they're all less than 3.0 you might want to worry.

They don't look at your quarter grades they look at your semester grades but you'll have to get A's on every assignment and test to get it to maybe what a 2ish level if you're lucky. For college, any good one you'll need at the very least a 3 hopefully a 3.5 but at this rate it's unlikely that you'll be able to get it up because of what you've displayed, you have to get at least a 1.0 to graduate anyway, so it looks like you'll be repeating the 9th grade.

If you have the ambition to go to college, you can still make it! It will take some work to bring your grades up so that you can meet the minimum requirements for some colleges/universities. Otherwise, as long as you can pass high school and graduate or get a GED, then you can attend a community college and work your way up to your dream school.

It is ridiculously easy to get into college if you don't care what college you get into. There are plenty of community colleges with a 100% acceptance rate. Although, I have no idea if someone who doesn't graduate high school would get accepted, and a .5 is definitely not on route to graduation.
