What are allied health careers?

I am trying to decide my schedule for next year and am wondering what biology for allied health is about?

I want to do something like physical therapy or sports medicine when I am older. Here are my choices between what science class to take next year please tell me which one is best for what I want to do when I am older and what each is about... 1. AP bio 2. bio for allied health 3.anatomy & physiology

  Here's how I would rank them: 1. AP Bio- Like with all AP classes, this would look good on your transcript and if you pass the test, you can get college credit. The turndown is that you have to expect a lot of lab reports from the class and the material is hard, since all AP sciences are the hardest classes in my opinion. 2. Anatomy & physiology- My guess is that it's a really straightforward class as the name sounds, and I'm sure it's nowhere near as difficult as AP Bio. Take this only if you feel you really can't handle a heavy schedule. 3. Bio for Allied Health- I honestly have never heard of such a class...perhaps you can ask your counselor about it?
