Do colleges put emphasis on Senior and Junior year high school grades?
-
I had a GPA of about 3.78/4 as a freshman and sophomore, and a GPA of 3.98/4 as a junior and senior in 7 AP classes. I got a 2300 on SAT. Will higher end schools ie Columbia, Notre Dame cast me away because of my grades as a fresh/soph? I feel like I've developed mentally and academically in the past two years, but I'm afraid that my past can hold me back. As background I got in at BC early action. I would like to know because on graphs that my school puts out, I am borderline for ND, but the graphs base everything on 4 year cumulative GPA and SAT. So, time of performance is a lurking variable and I want to determine its effect. Thanks.
