Any good 8th grade science fair projects with grass?

• I have a HUGE BAG of grass seeds in my house, and i'm thinking about using them for my next year's science fair project. After 2 years of doing my whole science fair project the day before the due date, i'm changing my ways. I'm gonna start my project this summer and finish by the end of summer, so i have the whole year stress free from the science fair project. Anyways, any good/cool science fair projects for 8th grade that involves grass? Oh yeah, make sure that there is lots of background research to support the project and easily make a hypothesis.
