What do do about Algebra 1B in 10th grade?

• (This is my first time on yahoo answers) Okay so I'm in 9th grade and I'm in Algebra 1A. In my school district we have Algebra 1A, Algebra 1B and Algebra 1. Last year in Middle School my teacher recommended me for Algebra 1A... I was careless and took Algebra 1A not knowing I would have to take Algrebra 1B next year. I want to take Geometry (along with physics, I have to be in geometry to get into physics) next year more than anything but if I'm still in Algebra 1 in 10TH GRADE it will look bad... I get good grades in my Algebra 1A class. I asked my Guidance Counselor and she says the math supervisor said i can't just skip Algebra 1B. I knew I couldn't just skip the class but she didn't understand what I mean I guess. One of my friends (who is in Algebra 2) told me I should e-mail the math supervisor. I found out that I could take Algebra 1b in some sort of summer program or just study and take a test at the end of the summer... I e-mailed the math supervisor on Monday and I haven't gotten an answer... (I wasn't exactly "professional" in the e-mail... Should I e-mail him again? What should i DOOOOO? I refuse to take ALGEBRA 1B in 10th grade it'd be humiliating...

  You will be fine taking Algebra 1B in 10th grade, most of the class will be 10th graders. Just wait until 11th grade to take geometry and physics.
