Good High Schools in Philadelphia?

Any Recommendations on good schools in Philadelphia?

• I'm relocating to Philadelphia next year, and needs to find a good school for my 3rd grade child. I want to find a good/best elementary school for my child so I can find a place nearby. Please anyone, any recommendations for good schools in Philly??

  I live in South Philly. I go to a charter school, and I'm attending C.A.P.A. next year. It is one of the best schools in Philadelphia, along with Central & G.A.M.P., which I was also excepted into. My school has some of the best teachers. It hasn't been open for long, but the students who have graduated have become very successful. (Philadelphia Performing Arts Charter School) It is very advanced. It offers Vocal Music, Violin, Ballet, Creative Writing, French, Technology, and Art. Childrens in grades K-5 take all of the classes until they are in 6th grade, in which they will chose one of the class to major in. They will attend that class every morning 8-9:30. Hope this helps =)
