Should I take AP Environmental Science my senior year?

What AP science should I take next year?

  • Next year is my senior year in high school. I'm going to take all AP's. I cannot decided between taking AP Chem 2 or AP Physics 2. I'm not taking AP bio because I know the teacher and I had him in 9th grade for bio 1. It wasn't pretty. All of my friends are taking AP bio 2, but I'm not. I've taken bio 1, chem 1, and physics 1 during 9th, 10th, and 11th grade respectively. My bio grade sucked, I took chem honors and got like a 98, and I'm in the highest level physics class now and have a 98 average I think. Any ideas? And apparently AP Physics requires a lot more calc, but I'm not sure about chem. Anyone got any advice? Thanks.

    It would depend what you want to take in University. If you want to take any course related to medicine, you've to take Biology and Chemistry. If you want an engineering course, you've to take Physics. Figure out what you want to do so you can get the credit in University. If you can't figure out what you want to do, stick to Biology.

Me and you are having the exact same problem. I'm thinkin to take AP Bio because my friends who take AP Chem say its the hardest and my Science dpt. chair says AP Chem is the hardest AP Science. But AP Enviromental Science is easy but pointless, but i think i'ma take AP Bio because i had a 100% in the ADV BIO class and i want to take Bio Lab since we didn't have that many fun labs in reg. BIO...hit me back up to lett me know what you're going to do!

AP chemistry is a good subject to take over AP biology & AP physics are much tough.

Now would be the time to take the Bio course you don't want to take. Biology courses in college are only going to be harder and if you get it out of the way now, you may be able to get college credit for it and never have to take it again.

Take AP Physics.. I took it last year--- wasn't too bad until we got to learn about thermodynamics. I hear AP Chem. is harder.
