What can I do wih a degree in health information technology?

basically what I want to know is if I complete a a degree in health information technology can I become an ultrasound technician?

I don't think so. A health IT usually deals with medical information so someone that handles medical records, among financial and administrative records. It's more of a clerical job. To be an ultrasound tech you'd need a degree in ultrasound technology or sonography.
