High School Grade Issues with College?
-
I have a c+ in a single semester of precalculus from sophomore year and in the past semester of my junior year, i got a c+ in Calculus, which gives me an extra gpa point like an honors class, but i was wondering if even with all these c's if i can still get into all the ucs like berkeley, la, and davis, maybe even stanford. i have a pretty good gpa, like a 4.2 or 4.3 , but the c's in math are the only thing that brings me down. i also do lots of other extracurriculars and sports, and i got a 1930 on the sat and 30 on the act. do i still have decent chances of getting into the ucs and maybe stanford?

Answer:
Yes, you do. You certainly have a chance of getting into one of the UCs. Obviously, it is less likely that you will get into Stanford. It's possible but probably unlikely.
