Answer:
Okay, all the ages are what age you are by the end of the year that you start the grade :) ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Kindergarten - Age 5 Grade 1 - Age 6 Grade 2 - Age 7 Grade 3 - Age 8 Grade 4 - Age 9 Grade 5 - Age 10 MIDDLE SCHOOL Grade 6 - Age 11 Grade 7 - Age 12 Grade 8 - Age 13 Sometimes there's Junior High Grade 8 - Age 13 Grade 9 - Age 14 and Senior High Grade 10 - Age 15 Grade 11 - Age 16 Grade 12 - Age 17 HIGH SCHOOL (Usually just goes from Middle school to High school.) Grade 9 (Freshman) - Age 14 Grade 10 (Sophmore) - Age 15 Grade 11 (Junior) - Age 16 Grade 12 (Senior) - Age 17 So people usually graduate high school at age 17-18 I'm pretty sure the University stuff is the same Bachelors (4 year degree in science, arts, business, or education) Masters (Usually 2 more years in one of the above things, but more specialized) Ph.D. (Highest degree) M.D. (Medical Doctor) Hope I helped! xoxo Rachael

Most American kids are about 2 years behind the UK by the time they leave school but once they get to college, and most do, they catch up. In the past only the elite got to further education in Britain with many going into apprenticeships and trades which no longer exist. So now in the UK most of our 16 year old's have started going to college too and once again we are back on top. The fact is Americans and British both teach from their own perspectives and Britain has thousands more years of history and was once the largest empire the world ever knew. Americans believe the Hollywood version of events and have very little grasp of the rest of the world. Both nations have been fed propaganda by successive governments and some of the tales we were told still linger on... eg Heath insurance system means better medical care, communists want to take over the world.

Freshmen: 14-15 Sophomore: 15-16 Junior: 16-17 Senior: 17-18 (these ages apply unless you have skipped a grade or held back a grade) These classes also apply to college by how many years you have had college education. And you start high school when your a freshmen so at 14. Middle school starts at 11 years old when you're in the 6th grade. Some places also have what's called junior high, which holds 8-9 graders. You stars that at 13 years old. Hope this makes sense

Nothing works there. every ages can start all school, money's talk and keep the teacher's mouth - shut.
