High School/SHSAT Help?!?!?

Ok. Well, I am in 7th grade and today and yesterday, the 8th graders took the SHSAT (Specialized High School Admissions Test) in New York. I have a few quesions regarding that and High School. 1) How was the test in difficulty level? 2) To you, what was the hardest part? 3) Which School do you want to go to? 4) which study guides were most effective or similar to the test? 5) How do you think you did? 6) Do you have to bring your H.S application with you to the test? High School Questions 1) What is it like being a student a Specialized High School? 2) What is it like being a student at a regular H.S? 3) What is a school day like at Midwod, Brooklyn Tech, Stuyvesant, etc.? (NYC Schools) 4) How was your first day of H.S? 5) Are freshmans really picked on a lot? 6) How much homework do you get and how are your teachers? Thanks so much for the help in advance.

1)The test WASNT hard!!! TIMING BLEW ME UP!!!!! seriously...so lil time and so many Q's... 2) reading comp... 3)STUY i dont think I'll get into though...only a miracle can save me now and get me in! 4)I THOUGHT the Baron's was the most similar...although it wasnt..IT WAS THE STUDENT HANDBOK...u know y? when I opened my test bbooklet..I was like OMGGG this is like the handbook! I wa happpy at first cuz when I took the handbook form B test I gotta 91 and I was like YAY! 5) BAD....timing as I said blew me up and i THINK i got into science 6) There is no spec hs application..only a admission ticket.. I suggest you work on the handbook...its VERY similar...and bware for the reading comprehension...it has boring passages...math was easy though!

the test was overall easier then the prep books, but the sad thing is i got too nervouse and screwed up my timing and messed up my test. i doubt ill get into anything. i coudnt finish the last 10 questions in English Reading comp, cuz i was aboutt o throw up cuz i was soooo preassurized. im sad bcause i tried soo hard, and both me and my parents knew that i could of gotten bronx or stuy if i had been cool and relaxed durring the test. now i gotta look at other schools like townsend harris and cardozo...

No, your guidance councilor will give you a paper [ticket]. Don't worry, just take a prep and it'll be easy.
