What are some good outside of school activities?

What are some activities I should join in high school?

  • Here are the all the extracurricular activities and clubs at the public high school: Seinfeld Club, Christian Revolution, Future Educators' Club, Chess Club, Polish Cultural Society, Hispanic Cultural Society, Asian Cultural Society, Ebony Culture Club, Physics Club, Math Team, Italian Club, French Club, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America), Photography Club, Poetry Club, Astronomy Club, National Honor Society, Muslim Student Association, Morning Announcements. Jazz Band, Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Table Tennis Club, Future Problem Solving, Color Guard, Dance Team, Drama Society, New Image Choir, Glee Club, Bee Sharps, Musically Yours, Sweet Harmony, Academic Challenge Team, Mock Trial Team, Chess Club, Table Tennis, Student Ambassadors, Rod n' Reel, Peer Leadership, House2House, Yearbook and Student Council. What would you recommend me to join? And don't just answer with, "Whatever you like to do." :]

  • Answer:

Well I don't know anything about you... some details about yourself would help... Joining a Band is usually a lot of fun. The Musically Yours and similar performance arts clubs are usually a blast. Things like National Honor Society and Student Council, you have to qualify for. Good grades get you into the NHS, but you don't really do anything as part of it, so try to join it anyway because it looks good on your resume. Other things that look good on your resume: Student Council, Peer Leadership, Student Ambassadors. My friend is on Model UN and loves it. And if you're into math and science, definitely try the Math Team and Physics Club. I'm in a science olympiad at my school, and it is so much fun to go and compete.

Academic Challenge Team, Mock Trial Team, Peer Leadership, Student Council. Those all would look great on a college application. Good luck(:

Try to look into any JROTC programs and get into the Honor Society. Besides physics club, math club, FBLA and Seinfeld club the rest seem useless.

If it was me joining, I would consider: Chess Club, Math Team, FBLA, Photography, Morning Announcements, Marching Band, Percussion Ensemble, Color Guard, Dance Team, Glee Club and Yearbook. Obviously you can't do all of those but of those I would probably choose: Photography, Dance Team, Glee Club and Yearbook.

National Honor Society, Student Council, Student Ambassador, Peer Leadership, and one club thats about something that really interests you, such as dance team if your into dance. hope i helped =)

Whatever interests you.. I would do National Honors Society for sure! Other than that if you wanna try it go for it!

This is hard because it is baased on your interests, but FBLA and DECA are a pretty well renouned clubs so if ur into buisness u should try both for like 2 meetings and see which one appeals to u first. Yearbook is A LOT of fun- seriously, but i think u have to apply to be in it. But if u do apply then good luck :) U should for sure join a sprort that u like, and choose either the dance team or color guard if u like either or are good at them. at my school u dont need any experience for color guard but u learn real fast and its SUPER fun. For thge cultural ones: whatever culture u like or believe in :)
