How Can I Get Smarter In Middle School?!?

  • OK so bottom line is im kind of dumb.... like im smart but its all totally useless information. i just cant focass on anything and i get distracted to easily! i have absolitly no motivation. i tried getting my mom to like pay me for my grades because we did that once or somthing like that. i just cant focas on anything i dont care about. like math. my friend literally lets me copy off of her for every single assignment im not kidding! and i cant do it anyways. im in 8th grade and i still cant divide at all.. and i just dont care. i wing it at everything and it makes me really mad. i never do homework. i get it done in class or i dont do it at all. i even if i try i forget to get my stuff before i go home. i honestly havnt done homework at home since sixth grade. not at all last year and not yet so far. i want this to be mynew years resolution im sick of being dumb. can anybody give me any ideas or anything? id really appriciate it!

    School is only partially based on intelligence. It's mostly based on a willingness to work hard. Talk to your parents and school guidance counselor. Tell them the truth about the fact you've fallen behind and work out a plan to catch up. From then on, my only advice to you about the workload is to Nike- just do it. It's really the only way. Unfortunately, you are going to have to stop looking at school solely as a place of intellectual pursuit- it's also a job.

I once asked that and it worked. what i did was that i started asking the teacher questions and i wrote them down on note cards to study them. Another one is you can do research on the computer.I did a project of different kinds of subjects on what i already know and asking questions! Dont be afraid to ask questions i mean without asking questions you cant understand! And if you have a lot of catching up to do on homework do extra credit! Extra credit can get your grades up and dont copy off of people just try not too because if you dont you will feel like a better person and you will get used to it! And dont be ashamed on telling the truth to people honesty is the best policy and they will probably understand because they were kids before too you know i mean every kid in the world cheats at least once!
