What will be on the 9th grade SHSAT?

Has anyone taken the 9th grade SHSAT and made it into Stuyvesant High school?

• Studying is going good, but a lot of people are telling me that they didn't make it into Stuyvesant when they took the 9th grade SHSAT...and that it is nearly impossible to get into Stuy...im planning to take it and am a little nervous - So Has anyone taken the 9th grade SHSAT and made it into Stuyvesant? - Even if you haven't how did u study for the test and what topics did the actual test mostly cover? -Your answer is very much appreciated and i will give credit to answers that are helpful....as soon as i figure out how to do that(newbie on yahoo answers =] ) -please take my question seriously....im kinda freaking out here

  First of all, relax Stuy is a great school, but it isnt the end of the world if you dont get in The test itself is a mixup of old SAT exam questions put together with slight changes to the numbers, etc. It is a lot harder for a 9th Grader to get in than an 8th grader, but not impossible I'd say a 625+ score would give u a decent shot. And remember, even if you do get in, the school will be much harder than the test you took, you may have a great time, but your going to work your *** off for the next 3 yrs. It might be better for you to have an easier time somewhere else and enjoy ur life a bit more
