What school supplies should I buy for High school?

  • I'll be a freshmen in September. And what to know what school supplies to buy. Should I buy one binder for every subject or one binder for every thing? I'll be going to a semester school. Thanks for the help.

    Just show up with some pencils, pens, and a few 3-subject notebooks, then wait until your teachers tell you what you'll need for their individual class, because they're all different. as far as the binders thing, i think it makes more sense and takes up less room to just have 1 binder, but it's really your choice. edit: DON'T get the TI-89 calculator unless your teacher forces you!! this calculator is forbidden on most major tests (SAT, ACT, state tests, etc.) because it does too much of the work for you. Get a TI-84 instead, it's just as good but not restricted.

You should have at least 7 binder folders. 1 folder - for loose stensils and sheets. 7 320page books - it's good to have lots of pages. so you can rip them out if your friend needs a paper or if you want to draw something. or if you stuffed up a page. 2 packets of red, black and blue pens (you'll be doing PLENTY of writing in high school) 1 straight ruler 1 bendy ruler (this is for pages that aren't equal on the table) 4 white out tapes (you will make LOTS of mistakes this year since your a freshman) 1 scientific calculator 1 backpack with pockets (don't bother with those sidebags they hurt your shoulders and give you bad posteur besides they don't fit much and they make your books seem heavy by being on one side of your body) 3 glue sticks 1 packet of different coloured highlighters (to point out important stuff) Post-It Notes - these really help you from losing your page. 1 diary to write in reminders and homework and assignments in. 1 long lasting water bottle (to keep you hydrated during school with clean water from home) 1 geometry set 1 pair of comfy running shoes for Physical Education I think thats it. Yep. and remember to ALWAYS hold on to your valuables. It may look like your school is thief free but in truth theres always bound to be one or two. Good luck in your new freshmen year!!

get one big binder and try to be organized its a mess when you have many folders with just one neat you will survive umm a scientific calculator for algebra and it would be very helpful if i knew your classes im entering 11th now i could help with anything :)

jus get a notebook or two then wen u get there ur teachers should tell u wat you'll need 4 the class its a good way 2 avoid getting more then wats needed and you wont need 2 make multiple trips 2 staples u kno

dont worry, all u need is lots of looseleaf paper, 1 or 2 notebooks, about 5 folders just incase and lots of pens perhaps a few pencils

Wait till school starts then your teachers should tell you what you need. For most major classes (english, math, etc.) you will probably want a binder and notebook paper for each of those at least. :)
