What's the difference between an RN and a BSN?

I was wondering what is the difference between a RN degree and a BSN.?

  • I am enrolled in a BSN program at the moment in my first year of college and I am reconsidering this decision and deciding whether it would be a good idea to switch to the regular RN program. If I were to switch to an RN program would I still be able to reach my goal of becoming an OB nurse in my future?

  • Answer:

RN degree is 2 years. BSN is 4 years.
