What's the best backpack for school?

What kind of backpack would be best for a junior in high school? A tote or a regular backpack?

  • I'll be entering my junior in high school. I take 3 AP classes but usually don't need to bring my books. I do have to bring notebooks for every class. I was thinking of maybe a Hurley tote. Any help would be great! thanks!

    im going to be a junior too, im using a backpack, because i will have anywhere from 3-6 books, so it would be hard for me to carry them. Get like a jansport backpack, cause they have cool designs, carry a lot, and aren't that expensive

A regular Backpack is what i use and it is fine better then a tote it will hurt your shoulder more because you may need to take all your books home and i recommend an UNder Armor and it will last you like 3 school years

i personally would use a backpack. it can hold any amount of books, totes are limited. use your judgement on what you think you can handle

I dont carry neither i use a gym pack that goes on my back like the image below whatever dont fit I carry in my hand or I make my sister put it in her bookbag. I prefer that as my bookbag.. http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2597489
