I cheated on my social studies test, and my teacher found out? HELP PLZ?

  • Well, so here's what happened. I didn't know I had a test today because I skipped for almost 3 days. I didn't even study and I didn't know a thing on the question of the test. I did my test in an grade 9 class. I noticed there was a social studies textbook lieing around the table I sat on. So I used it until the period is over but since that grade 9 teacher noticed that i was using a textbook I wasn't supposed to used, he told my social studies' teacher that i was using a social studies textbook. I was supposed to stay in my period 2 class and do my tests but the grade 9 teacher ruined everything so I got a zero on my tests. :( What should i do? Is my social studies' teacher going to fail me? and should I stop coming to his class because I'm afraid that I'm going to be in a LOT of trouble. D: I had a worse day today bcz I got in so much trouble. I was called by my vice principal and she tried to convince me to keep going to class like she was like, "You have to go to school even though you don't feel like it" and blah...blah...blah. Should I keep continue going to school? but I really hate doing work. Please help me.....I'm really bothered by this. ): any adivce or tips to help me keep going to school? because I see no purpose in coming to school );

    This is one incident, don't let it get you down. Tell your teacher you were unprepared for the test, and that you are sorry for having cheated. Ask if there is anything you can do, like make-up assignments or tests to help your mark. Show a genuine desire to fix your mistake. I'm sure your teacher isn't heartless. Also, keep going to class and pay attention. Teachers will definitely be more willing to help you out if you don't skip all the time and show a positive attitude towards learning.

You made a mistake and you will pay the consequences, but life will go on. Learn from it. You cannot drop out of school just because you made a mistake. No one would ever be educated if they all dropped out because they made a mistake. It is hard, but this will pass. Good luck in the future!!

If you quit school, because you hate the work, that's your problem. There's probably thousands of other children who hate school too, but they still go. you sound stupid.

I find it strange that you are so fearful of your teacher failing you, yet you are willing to fail yourself by dropping out of school! Please continue with your education. It is one of the most important things you can give yourself. It is common for a teacher to either let you fail the course or give you a zero on test for cheating. It is a lesson that needs to be learned and hope you don't do it again. I know you are looking for encouragement from others, but please believe in yourself. You are the only person that can determine whether you will be motivated or not to study (long after these yahoo answers are out of your head). Yes, I do not enjoy the workload nor do I like to face the consequences of my bad behavior but it needs to be done. Be confident and put this ordeal behind you. You have many years to go and you do not want to be a high school drop out. You will regret it and you shouldn't make such a major decision at such a young age. I have never experienced what you are going through but am a teenager. I am sure after you and your teacher have a talk about your punishment, he or she will not bring up the topic again and you can continue learning without embarrassment. You may end up being an inspiration and a success story...you already got the "rocky start" under your belt. It's time to finish the story but you need to give yourself a chance - and that starts with a basic education.
