• I am a student learning English. With help here, I revise my previous writing. This is kind of my diary. Would you point out awkward expressions? ---------------- I came across the article that a distinguished novelist in my country blamed other celebrities who congratulate grand opening of new general service channels. I know why she was so upset. Some insist that several main newspapers are trying to dominate broadcasting. However, I was a little disappointed at her expression which gave me impression that she was superior to others in the aspect of morality. She is rather famous. Her remark has a great ripple effect. If she criticized them in a more thoughtful and respectful way, it would be good. Some government-friendly press already started to use her vulgar expression to their own advantage. They are making a fuss with the remark of a female novelist who has been in antagonism to the current government. Unlike her intention to criticize government friendly newspapers, she gave them a good excuse to blame people who opposed them to conquer media. I feel frustrated seeing her. She is one of celebrities who young people respect. I frequently see little children use bad words. They even don't feel guilty blaming others harshly because they think they are right. They believe it is okay to hurt others because they are right and the other party is wrong. They learn such an attitude from adults. In the situation where even such a famed one put other people down in public just because their decision is against her belief, how could we expect children to respect each other?
