Can my parents drop me out of high school?

I want to know if I can drop out of high school and get my GED without my parents permission.?

I want to become a missionary and with that I don't need a high school diploma or a college diploma. I just want to be able to not have to go through my parents because I know what they would say. I need to know because right now my grades are suffering. I did talk to my parents about getting my GED and they said as long as I am taking college classes at CSN (in Las Vegas, Nevada). I would take their advice, but I don't have any money and I am not doing student loans because I don't want to have to be in debt. My parents aren't going to be able to help me out financially. I just need to know whether or not I can drop out of high school without my parents permission and then get my GED.

i know in ny state you can drop out as long as you have finished your year that you turned 16 like in 10th you turned 16. you may drop out in 11th and at 16 they cant do anything bout it
