It depends what information you already have. If you know the diameter, then the radius is half of that. If you know the area, then use the equation pi*r^2, where r is the radius. If you know the circumference, then use the equation pi*d, where d is the diameter.

Measure from one side of the circle to the other in a straight line.This is the diameter. Whatever value you get,you then divide it by 2. This is the radius. An example is as follows : If the circle diameter is 10cm. (10/2 = 5) Therefore the radius is 5cm
